Still haven't heard anything from New York about my book. The wheels of progress turn slowly in the publishing biz. However, here's the cover of the second book I wrote the title for. It will be out in July '06.

News From My Agent!

Completely out of the blue my agent tells me he's heard from an editor who championed my first chick lit novel (CurvyKathy31: Confessions of a Chat Addict) last April. Since then she's moved to another big New York publisher...and wants to know if I've sold it yet...and what else do I have ready...

Besides being extremely complimented that she would remember my novel after almost a year, I'm beside myself with excitement that this could be the real thing while remaining cautious this could just be another disappointment.

But, hey, as they say on "Deal or No Deal"...I came here to play!

I predicted Melissa Mcghee would be the next to go...but was totally shocked that Ace Young was in the bottom three. Come on girls! You want Kevin over Ace? Maybe you need to take another long, hard look...

The breakfast room, den and master bedroom all look out the back onto this manmade lake.

We feel like we're on vacation all the time...well, except during that pesky 8-5 job.

I'm Baaaack

Okay, okay...so...I dropped off of the face of the earth. What can I say? I'm sorry! Hopefully things have settled down enough and I can get back into the swing of blogging again...I do miss you guys VERY MUCH!!!

I'll give you the short version of the last couple of months. We ended up getting a contract on the house the very next weekend! That meant we had to go and find a house pronto...we really didn't care that much about the house...we were much more interested in a backyard view. A n y w a y...we found one and moved in this last weekend. Pics to come in my next post.

Now I have to go and read everybody's blogs...that will take a while.
