We Got A Contract!!!
But it's a low offer and they want us to pay closing costs, which in case you didn't know, is a lot of freakin' money. $5,000 in this case. Somebody's getting rich off of real estate but it isn't the buyer or the seller! We counter-offered so we'll see what happens...stay tuned!

Hope they come up to your price. I'd bet they love your house and were just hoping to get a better deal.

I hope you countered slightly above what you can live with :)
THe agents are the folks getting rich off real estate. Except for the rare few investors who are slick enough to see a property they can buy and flip quickly for fast $$$... and most of those are agents as well.
I hope the weekend brings you a signed contract!!
