I know it's a commercial holiday but you've got to love it (if you're a mother.) My husband is in the other room vacuuming, we're having both mothers over (and children) for brunch. More later. Maybe I'll get a couple of digital pics.
Okay, back again.
Mine and Steve's moms...aren't they cute!

Mom and my flowerbed...

Yeah, I got something too...

This is the GOOD child...
(Son works nights so he was asleep.)

My "kids" gave me the cutest card (with a little help from "Daddy"). I know, we need help...
"But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane,
In proving foresight may be vain;
The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'men
Gang aft agley,
An'lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!"
I was wrong. It's "Schemes" not "plans."
Mea culpa!
Hey, Candace, that's very sweet of your "kids" and their Dad. You're very lucky to have such a thoughtful family.
Duke...well, of course. I knew that...lol. Between the turd poetry and this I've had about all the "literature" I can stand.
